How Original Fine Art Becomes High-End Surface Licensing

Recently in the studio, my focus has been on creating a new collection of Bold Organic Textures. Painted by hand, these works explore tactile brushwork, vibrant movement, and raw expressionist color—qualities that translate beautifully into modern surface pattern repeats.

In addition to licensing these designs commercially, I am releasing the original physical paintings as collectible fine art pieces. Each canvas is digitised and high-resolution archived for the Susanna Nousiainen Surface Art Licensing library prior to release. When you acquire an original painting, you are investing in the physical artwork for your private collection, while the artist retains underlying copyright and commercial licensing rights.
